Materials: Wood, wire, foam, paint, polyurethane, solar powered light, plexi glass
2010

Created specifically for Cosign Projects in St. Louis, Lamp, took the form of three historic whale oil lantern representations that hung from the exterior of the Cosign Projects building. The function of the lamps was both as a solar powered light source for the building, but also to act as odd whale lantern representations from a period of time, specifically the mid 19th century, in St. Louis, which was marked by pivotal change, expansion, and development.
